love & celebration [DAN & TRACEY in PHILADELPHIA]

This past weekend, my best friend married the love of his life. I didn't take many pictures, but I did capture some tiny moments that will help me remember the weekend as I saw it.

just a few hours before the ceremony, my brother & I, half-eaten pizza in hand, ran into Dan in the elevator. he was hungry, and he was wearing his tux. my brother fashioned him a bath-towel-gown, and Dan wolfed down the pizza in our room. those few minutes, just Dan, my mom, my brother & me, stand out as my favorite part of the weekend.

eat [DESSERTS at URBAN PALATE]

It's no secret that I have an insatiable sweet tooth (thereby a sweet disposition? I'll take it).

Urban Palate always offers up the most delicious treats at the end of their tastings, and these desserts are also some of my favorite to photograph. UP places a lot of emphasis on handmade, individual portions, and it's the nooks and crannies - the imperfections - of each dessert that make them perfectly beautiful.

wedding [SADDLEROCK, FOR URBAN PALATE]

In early November, I joined Urban Palate at their last outdoor wedding of the year. A beautiful, warm afternoon gave way to a crisp, magical evening - and the food & drink were flowing.
