It's no secret that I have an insatiable sweet tooth (thereby a sweet disposition? I'll take it).
Urban Palate always offers up the most delicious treats at the end of their tastings, and these desserts are also some of my favorite to photograph. UP places a lot of emphasis on handmade, individual portions, and it's the nooks and crannies - the imperfections - of each dessert that make them perfectly beautiful.
Right before Christmas, I joined Tait & Stacy of Kid Concierge at Baby 2 Baby's fabulous Christmas event. Baby 2 Baby supplies Los Angeles families in need with baby gear and children's clothing. This year, they hosted 150 families for a fun-filled day of crafts, sweets & holiday cheer.
Jessica of Bramble Workshop handled the decor & manned the craft tables. Urban Palate provided delicious boxed lunches. There was an artisanal hot chocolate station, and Kane Fortune of Fortune Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor. Our Santa couldn't resist getting down, Gangnam Style.
At the end of October, I had the pleasure of joining Urban Palate as they catered a beautiful wedding at Saddlerock Ranch. The food looked excellent, the bride was beautiful, and the property was beyond stunning, and peaceful.
