I spend most of my time as a wedding photographer here in the Bay Area, but I still pepper my year with beautiful hybrid lifestyle/documentary family sessions. Most of my families have met me through friends or other families I've photographed - something I'm incredibly proud of.
I met the Bridge family first when Christin was pregnant with Poppy at her brother's wedding (one of my first destination weddings ever, in Puerto Vallarta!), and I photographed them for the first time when Poppy was born, and then again about eight months old.
Seeing them for the first time in this new phase of their life - new home, new-ish little brother - was so exciting. Watching my clients' lives change and families grow is one of the most profound pleasures of this job. I had such a blast photographing the Bridge Family again, now featuring little James.
