Morgan & Andrew // A Bloomfield Farms Wedding in Petaluma

Morgan & Andrew were married at Bloomfield Farms in Petaluma, California, surrounded by friends and family and the rolling hills of Sonoma County.

They covered their wedding in gorgeous bouquets, bouts and arrangements by Natasha Kolenko, and otherwise let the beautiful venue (and incredible food served) speak for itself. It was one of the first weddings I ever shot where the food was seriously meaningful to the couple - from fresh oyster service during the cocktail hour to a thoughtfully sourced dinner menu featuring local, Sonoma County meat and produce.

Morgan & Andrew forwent a late night dance party and instead guests crowded around a bonfire to roast s'mores and cuddle in close.

Tabitha & Gavin // A Palm Springs Engagement Session

Another day, another gorgeous, whimsical couple romping around the desert.

Gavin and Tabitha (and her gorgeous unicorn hair) were celebrating their first anniversary at The Parker Palm Springs on the very same weekend I was heading home from Jenn & Alex's Joshua Tree engagement session. We made a plan to meet for a drink a couple hours before sunset and steal away for some photos on the grounds at the Parker (mildly not allowed).

Then we hopped in my car and I drove them out to my favorite spot in town - just a little off the beaten path - where we watched the sun set over a wind farm and they kicked dirt and made out until it started getting dark.

PS: Tabitha is the brilliant creative behind Winston & Main, an event design company in Los Angeles.

San Francisco City Hall Elopement | A Winter Wedding

These two handsome men got married in at San Francisco City Hall just before Christmas, with just a mom in tow. One of the best kept secrets of San Francisco City Hall elopements is that you can absolutely ask your officiant to switch ceremony locations from the rotunda. See the beautiful spot they chose below!
